Photo editing is such an important step for making a photograph look great. But although apps like Snapseed have been constantly improving and offering intuitive controls, there is always the need to know what parameters to play with to achieve the desired results. Up to now.
In case you missed Apple's WWDC presentation last week, the new Photos app in iOS 8 will bring photo editing to a whole new level. Using only 2 sliders (one for Light and one for Color), you can change the look of your photos while your device figures out what adjustments need to be made to Brightness, Contrast, Exposure, Highlights and Shadows. You can tweak each of those individually if you want, but the underlying algorithm will do the heavy lifting for you. Quite impressive.
Below you can watch the part of the presentation where this feature is demoed. Enjoy!
